Rebecca Larkin is a life coach for people whose lives are just starting. Rebecca combines over 30 years as an educator with her empathetic and skilled coaching practice to support older teens and young adults.
In the classroom, Rebecca was known as a fun, kind, and creative teacher who enthusiastically shared her love of the social sciences and history. When she wasn’t in front of a chalkboard, Rebecca always connected with students as individuals, helping them break through learning and motivation barriers, organize their busy lives, and find ways to hold themselves responsible and accountable. Rebecca is dedicated to helping high school students and young adults gain self-confidence and a feeling of success.
Rebecca is in the center of a Venn diagram, between the intersecting circles of academics and coaching. In addition to a Master's in Education, Rebecca is a Certified Coach specializing in young people with ADHD and Executive Function challenges. She doesn’t believe in laziness or the shame of procrastination. By asking questions, understanding her client’s learning style and mindset, and taking a comprehensive view of a client’s school and work background, Rebecca uncovers the reasons for a lack of motivation. They aren’t always what the client thinks they are or the same for each task. Making sense of those sources, Rebecca and her clients create strategies and build valuable life skills to achieve their current and future goals.
